A good joint formula is not complete without Glucosamine and Chondroitin!

Glucosamine and Chondroitin have long been trusted for their role in joint health. Healthy joints produce their own glucosamine, but with age, production slows down, which means the body loses some of its ability to repair joints naturally.

Thankfully, by taking Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplements, you can help prevent cartilage from breaking down and help cells repair in your joints.

Studies have also shown that Chondroitin helps reduce pain, increase joint mobility and decrease the need for painkillers.

A recent Cochrane Collaboration review on Chondroitin, looked at 43 clinical trials over a period of more than 20 years, involving 9,110 participants who took chondroitin for osteoarthritis. The review found that Chondroitin was effective in safely improving pain and functional capacity in patients.

In another study, published in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, researchers found that a combination of Chondroitin and Glucosamine was as effective as the anti-inflammatory drug celecoxib after six months of treatment in patients with severe osteoarthritis. Pain, functional disability, stiffness and swelling were significantly reduced – without the usual side-effects associated with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Both Glucosamine and Chondroitin help reduce inflammation, allowing the cells in your joints to maintain their structural integrity.

And, when you combine Glucosamine, Chondroitin and another SEVEN essential joint support nutrients, you have a powerful combo to reduce inflammation and reduce, or even potentially eliminate, your joint pain!

Testing your heart rate could warn you of heart health problems…

When your heart rate is high (your heart is beating fast), it’s  known as tachycardia. And, while this is a normal response during and straight after exercise or during acute stress… It’s not normal though during rest for example.

What’s too fast? Tachycardia is characterised by a heart beat of over 100 times per minute.

You can check your heartbeat yourself. The next time you feel heart palpitations – and you haven’t been exercising or have just had a big fright, sit down with your watch or cellphone and count the number of times your heart beats per minute.

If it’s higher than 100, see your doctor so he can rule out a serious heart problem.

If not, keep reading to find out how you could reduce heart palpitations..

1. Keep hydrated – drink lots of water

2. “Bananas are an excellent source of potassium.

3. Orange juice is also rich in potassium.
Oranges are also a source of potassium for your heart.

4. Eat a handful of raisins.
