The natural compound extract is from the dry root and rhizome of turmeric, called Curcumin, or Curcuma Longa.

You’ll need:

175ml pineapple juice
175ml apple juice
50ml citrus shot (50% orange juice, 25% lemon juice and 25% lime juice)
¼ tsp turmeric
Pinch of cayenne pepper

What to do:

Combine all of the ingredients in a glass. Stir well.

Serve the elixir immediately. Drink as often as needed.

For the second recipe, you’ll need…

2.5cm-thick piece ginger root, minced
2 tsp ground turmeric (or 2.5cm-thick piece turmeric root)
1 tsp ground cinnamon (or 2-3 cinnamon sticks)
1 lemongrass teabag
Pinch of black pepper
½ tsp raw honey

What to do:

Assemble your ingredients, kettle, glass beaker, pitcher strainer and mug.

Fill your kettle with water and set to boil. 

Measure out one teaspoon of ingredients (excluding the raw honey) to 200ml of boiling water in the base of your beaker for every cup of tea.

Add the ingredients and boiling water to your pitcher and then let the tea steep for three to five minutes depending on how strong you want it.

Prepare your mug and slowly transfer the liquid. Use your strainer to catch the loose tea.

Complete the ritual by stirring in the raw honey.

Sip the tea slowly and feel the pain and tenderness fade away.
